Welcome "Big" Dave Edison to the business. He boasts a huge knowledge base and skill set. He came from Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville where he was their main outboard mechanic for over 10 years. He has been involved in the industry for over 20 years with outboard engine rebuilds being his specialty. He was the machinist that bored, sleeved, ported and rebuilt the powerheads at the shop that he just left.

About Tim Caudill

"My name is Tim Caudill and this is hopefully the beginning of a journey that builds long term relationships with our customers and vendors. For those of you that know me from the Olympic View Marine days (same location) or from my time at Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville, I have a tendency to turn customer relations into friendships. I am looking forward to meeting new customers that become friends and renewing old friendships from the past.        

Quick Bio: I am a local boy for the most part. Graduated from Cascade High School in 1983 and went to work for a door and millwork company as a summer job. That summer job lasted 19 years until in 2002 the company had to shut the doors. At that time I was an IT guy without certifications in a flooded market. I went to work for Olympic View Marine to pay the bills. Nine years later and it is time to start a new chapter in my life as a business owner and a marine mechanic. We have all had to make choices in our lives, time will only tell if it was one of those poor choices we look back at and question or a good decision that we wonder why we did not do sooner!

On a lighter side of life, I enjoy fishing, racquetball, watching auto racing and spending time with family and friends."

• Tohatsu Outboards: Authorized sales and service.
• Tune and Service: Basic tune and service, plus 16 point quick check on boat and trailer.
• Sportjets, Outboard Jets and Inboard Jets: Service work to sharpening impellers to changing stator fluid.

Winterize

Don't forget to winterize!  Winterizing is very important on both outboards and inboards.  With outboards, the main reason to winterize is to get the roller bearings coated so they don't rust.  Rusted roller bearings do not roll, so they skid across the bearing surface.  This friction causes engine failure.  On Inboards and I/O's, the critical factor is block freezing.  Frozen blocks lead to cracked blocks which leads to very expensive engine replacements.  Throw in the crappy fuels we buy today and you can have a costly repair bill at the beginning of the season next year.  The saying "pay a little now or alot later" comes to mind.
